Today, PDL only adds stock ticker information in cases where there is strong, deterministic linkage to information that exists in public company filings (e.g., the website in the PDL company data matches the website in the company's 10-K annual filing).

While this reduces the rate of false positive linkages and inaccurate tickerization, this Feature Request would be to expand the coverage through probabilistic entity resolution, additional sourcing, or other means.
